We only collect what is needed to find your car. We never sell your data and the site does not use any trackers.

The data we collect
Through the search form:
- Identity and contact details: first name, last name, email, phone, municipality, preferred language and means of contact.
- Your search: vehicle criteria, use, budget, timing, options, purchase and payment preferences.
- Any trade-in: model, year, mileage, condition.
- Optional: how you heard about Huntly, the best time to call you.
Through your conversations with us (email, WhatsApp, phone): the content of those conversations.
What we use it for
- Processing your request and calling you back.
- Searching for vehicles and sending you our suggestions.
- Drawing up the documents: order form, invoices.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request, then performance of the contract; your consent to be contacted again; our accounting obligations for invoices.
Who has access to it
- Huntly, to process your request.
- Netlify, which hosts the site and receives the form. Its servers may be located outside the European Union; the transfer is covered by the safeguards of the European data protection regulation.
- Our internal tools for following up requests (professional spreadsheet and mailbox).
- Sellers, only if necessary for the purchase, and with your agreement.
How long we keep it
- Requests not followed up: deleted after 12 months.
- Customer files: kept for the period required by accounting obligations.
Cookies and storage
The site uses no audience measurement or advertising cookies, and no third-party scripts. That is why no cookie banner appears.
If you use the day / night button, your choice is remembered on your device (the browser’s local storage). This information contains no personal data and is never sent to Huntly.
Your rights
At any time, you can ask for access to your data, its rectification, erasure or the restriction of processing, object to it or receive it in a readable format (portability). Write to us at contact@huntly.be. We reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
